The highest snowfall totals across Manitowoc County included 10.0 inches in Point Beach State Forest and 8.0 inches in Mishicot.

A low pressure system tracking through the Ohio Valley brought a surface trough through northeast Wisconsin during the evening hours of Thursday (2/24). As the trough tracked to the east, low level winds became favorable for lake effect snow to develop across the Lake Michigan lakeshore during the late evening on Thursday (2/24) and early morning hours of Friday (2/25). Snowfall amounts were generally 6 to 10 inches across the lakeshore.

Some of the highest snowfall totals included 10.0 inches in Casco (Kewaunee Co.) as well as Point Beach State Forest (Manitowoc Co.), 9.5 inches in Algoma (Kewaunee Co.), 8.0 inches in Mishicot (Manitowoc Co.), and 7 inches near Ephraim (Door Co.).
