Snowfall of 7 inches was reported at Healy.

An Arctic front pushed through during the afternoon setting the stage for the development of widespread snow. Southwest flow aloft ahead of an upper level low aided in 1-7 inches of snow south to north across the CWA with northern counties seeing more with the enhanced PVA anomalies located there. Snow tapered off through the afternoon with the main parent low as it exited quickly to the northeast leading to clearing skies and dangerously cold temperatures overnight into Sunday morning.
