Wider weather episode

Very dry conditions in February, led to expansion of severe (D2) drought conditions into portions of central and north central Nebraska. Precipitation was well below normal for the month of February with many locations across western and north central Nebraska, reporting precipitation totals between 5 and 50 percent of normal.
