Cold high pressure remained over the region for another night with lows dropping into the 30s and 40s below zero across much of northeastern Minnesota the morning of the 13th. With the high overhead winds were very light, but winds were strong enough in a few spots to produce wind chills in the 40s below zero with International Falls recording a minimum wind chill of -50F.
