Strong thunderstorm winds knocked down trees and wires.

A cold front passed through Northeastern Pennsylvania during the afternoon and evening hours, triggering thunderstorms. Many of these storms became severe with winds being the main threat. Numerous trees and power lines were knocked down by these storms.
