Two to four inches of snow fell across the county.

A strong cold front dropped south across the forecast area early on February 1st. As the colder air oozed into the area, increasing lift and moisture over the top of the shallow cold air led to a prolonged episode of moderate to heavy snow over southern Kansas during the daytime hours of February 2nd, 2022. Snowfall amounts ranged from 5 to 8 inches.
