All areas of the zone remained in Severe(D2) drought with just the southeast corner in Moderate(D1) drought. The Antelope Wells Cooperative Observer recorded 0.12 inches of precipitation which was 0.31 inches below normal.

Wider weather episode

Another month of well below normal precipitation kept much of Southwest New Mexico in Severe(D2) to Extreme(D3) drought.
