Event narrative

Severe(D2) drought continued for most of the zone except for the far southeast which remained in Moderate(D1) drought. The Antelope Wells Cooperative Observer reported 0.25 inches of precipitation which was 0.12 inches below normal.

Wider weather episode

Another month of below normal precipitation, except in the Sacramento Mountains, lead to increasing coverage of Extreme(D3) and some areas up to Exceptional(D4) drought.
