NEDOR mesonet station at Banner Road along Highway 71 at mile post 34.5 (NE001) measured sustained winds of 40 mph for an hour 6 miles southeast of Harrisburg.

High winds spread across southern portions of the Nebraska Panhandle during the afternoon of the 30th with gusts around 60 mph on the backside of strong surface low pressure system moving into the central Great Plains.
