A severe thunderstorm producing winds estimated near 60 mph knocked down trees onto wires along Rose Haven Road just north of the Mason-Dixon line.

A Mesoscale Convective Vortex (MCV) passed over Pennsylvania from the late morning into the mid afternoon hours of May 20, 2022, triggering the development of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms that crossed southern Pennsylvania became severe, producing localized wind damage and one quarter-sized hail report.
