Numerous roads were flooded in the Denbigh area to Fort Eustis. A few vehicles were stranded in high water near Denbigh Boulevard.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms associated with low pressure and a frontal boundary produced heavy rain which caused flash flooding across portions of southeast Virginia.
