Widespread roadway flooding occurred in the tidal areas of Sussex County. The tide gauge at Lewes reached 7.34 feet MLLW. The tide gauge at Indian River Inlet reached 6.18 feet MLLW.

Wider weather episode

Strengthening low pressure moved slowly up the Middle Atlantic Coast from the 18th into the 19th. The resulting onshore flow caused moderate tidal flooding in parts of Delaware.
