A large tree was blown down by thunderstorm winds along Antler Run Drive.
Wider weather episode
A closed low over the Ohio Valley pushed a warm front into northern North Carolina. Increasing low level shear in this region and modest instability, lead to scattered severe thunderstorms which produced damaging winds and two brief tornadoes.
