A thunderstorm produced 3.5 inch diameter hail on Hwy 277 northwest of Rocksprings.
Wider weather episode
An upper level trough moved across the southern plains pushing a cold front into South Central Texas. Thunderstorms developed along the front and some of these storms produced large hail and damaging wind gusts.
