Heavy rain was reported from thunderstorms, in the San Bernardino and San Jacinto mountains, and in the Morongo Valley and Desert Hot Springs area. The Morongo Valley area had 3.00 to 4.00 inches of rain, between 0600 PST and 0900 PST, with minor flooding of roads.
