Sustained winds of 40-50 mph with gusts from 50-62 mph hour were reported at Mojave Airport. Winds were also strong through the Antelope Valley and Western Mojave Desert with winds of 25 to 38 mph. Winds of 25-40 mph were also common through the Antelope Valley.
