Event narrative

Thunderstorm wind gusts to 58 mph were recorded at the Reno/Tahoe airport. The strong winds blew out a window in a store near central Reno, as well as a second floor window in a home near Virginia Lake. Flying debris also hit some cars driving on Reno freeways.
