Lake Tahoe- ,,,,,,,,,Urban Flooding Truckee Area, Central Sierra,An upper level low pressure system centered over northeast Nevada helped to develop more showers and thunderstorms over the area. There was a report of three-quarters inch hail during a thunderstorm at Wells in Elko county. Darlin, also in Elko county, received 1.2 inches of rain in 20 minutes. Hail was reported with other storms at Reno, Yearington, Carson City and Galena. Bodie State Park received 1.42 inches of rain in a 24 hour period. The rain caused minor flooding of streets and urban streams near the Yearington area. Several accidents were reported on slick roads along Interstate 80 near Winnemucca and in the Reno and Carson City areas.
