Several sections of wood fences were blown down in a Fernley, NV neighborhood that is located 1.0 mi SSW of town on Sunday 6/12. First damage was reported around 2 pm with more fence damage between 4-5 pm.

Wider weather episode

A fast moving cold front with an anonymously deep upper trough brought another round of windy conditions, increased chances for showers and thunderstorms, and cooler temperatures that dampened summer recreation activities and travel across the area.
