Event narrative

Wind gusts over 40 mph were observed throughout western Pennsylvania. Scattered power outages were reported Statewide as trees fell across power lines. In Clearfield County, downed electrical wires led to several brush fires. In Washington County, four light towers collapsed, damage estimated at $50,000. In Indiana County, a two and one-half-foot diameter tree sliced through a split-level home.
