Event narrative

A line of severe thunderstorms blew down numerous trees and power lines across northern parts of the parish including along LA Highway 577, LA Highway 857, Bakers Cut-Off Road, Roscoe Lane, and AJ Stephens Road.

Wider weather episode

A few rounds of severe thunderstorms moved across portions of northeast Louisiana from late in the evening of April 12th through the evening of April 13th. These storms produced wind damage and several tornadoes before a cold front brought an end to storms from west to east.
