A few trees uprooted on the north side of Troy.

A unusual summer-time upper air pattern developed across the Central Gulf Coast states with an upper high centered just north of Alabama. Several upper level impulses rotated around the eastern side of the high and produced clusters of severe storms that tracked westward across Central Alabama.
