The summer heat started a little early with Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings during the June 11-13th period. Maximum heat indices exceeded 105 across just about all of North and Central Texas. Ambient temperatures actually exceeded 105 for many counties, particularly along and west of the I-35 corridor on June 12th.
