Event narrative

Flash flooding was observed in the city of Alliance. Law enforcement reported that a vehicle was washed off the road. The occupants were able to safely exit the vehicle.

Wider weather episode

A slow moving thunderstorm complex produced very heavy rain and localized flash flooding across portions of Morrill and Box Butte counties late in the evening on the 6th into the early morning hours on the 7th.
