A trained spotter reported a large oak tree uprooted near the 500 block of Jackson Avenue East.

Wider weather episode

A line of thunderstorms developed in the late morning hours across portions of central Georgia and the Midlands of South Carolina. These thunderstorms progressed into interior portions of southeast South Carolina and produced damaging wind gusts in the early afternoon.
