Trees were reported down along Sacred Lane near Lloyd Stewart Road near Mamers.

Wider weather episode

A surface Piedmont trough over western North Carolina led to the development of isolated to scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening across the Piedmont of central North Carolina. Some of these storms produced wind damage over Harnett and Moore Counties. Another round of isolated thunderstorms moved into the northwest Piedmont associated with a mid-level disturbance in the late evening to early overnight hours, producing a single severe wind event in the Triad.
