Event narrative

Several large trees were blown down near the area of Highway 37 and Indian Creek Road and were blocking the highway.

Wider weather episode

A combination of weak steering flow and tropical moisture resulted in slow moving thunderstorms with torrential downpours that produced flash flooding in Albany. In addition, a few severe storms occurred with damaging winds.
