Multiple power outages were reported in southern Delta County with the main outage area from Gladstone eastward along US-41 and US-2 to Nahma Junction. There were multiple lightning flashes reported in that area.

A warm front moving through a moist and unstable air mass produced severe thunderstorms over portions of west and central Upper Michigan during the evening of the 8/2.
