Event narrative

Dime to Quarter-sized hail fell across central portions of Brampton Township, along with strong winds. There was a swath that had a width of one quarter to one half mile wide, and extended for around one mile. This swath contained damaged crops, with corn stalks stripped and about 80 percent of the soybeans defoliated.

Wind and hail damage was reported across portions of Sargent County during the evening hours as an isolated severe thunderstorm impacted the area.
