Event narrative

Very heavy rainfall fell over Macho Creek in western Duval County with radar estimates showing 8 to 15 inches of rainfall. Flood waters rose on Macho Creek and moved into the community of Realitos. Two homes on south Cadena Street between Highway 359 and Adkins Street had water up to the window sills. Around 20 people were evacuated, with some of them going to a shelter in Benavides. Multiple agencies responded to the rescue effort.

Wider weather episode

Runoff from the excessive rains over Webb and Duval Counties on the 15th caused flooding of creeks and rivers into the 16th.
