Generally 3 to 5 inches of snow fell across the area.

Wider weather episode

A closed low pressure system and associated surface cold front progressed into the Great Basin and lifted across western Colorado. This resulted in moderate to heavy snow across the mountains. Locally moderate snow fell in some valley areas as a result of banding along the cold front.
