2022-11-15 · Eastern Pendleton, West Virginia
Wider weather episode
Low pressure passed by to our west while another low passed by to our east on the 15th of November. High pressure remained to the north and this allowed for a layer of cold air to hang around, causing a wintry mix over the higher elevations.
Snowfall accumulations were around a coating to an inch across the ridges with little or no accumulations in the valleys.
Freezing rain led to ice accumulation over the higher elevations generally above 1,000 feet in elevation. Ice amounts ranged from a trace to around one tenth of an inch.
