Another round of lake effect snow accumulated to between 2 and 6 inches, heaviest during the morning hours of November 18th when snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour were briefly reported. Temperatures falling into the 20s, snow already on the ground, and gusty winds also allowed for areas of blowing snow and reduced visibilities. Travel was difficult across the area with reports of slide-offs, accidents and school closings.
