To start November, ongoing drought conditions in the western two thirds of the Little Rocky Mountains were in (D3-Extreme) drought, while the eastern third of the Little Rocky Mountains was in (D2-Severe) conditions. These conditions would remain the same through the end of the month.
Wider weather episode
Despite November being colder than average and having above normal precipitation for the month, the drought picture over northeast Montana remains relatively unchanged.
