A maximum snowfall total of 3.0 inches was reported by a CoCoRaHS observer located 10 miles southwest of Alliance.

Widespread light to moderate snow developed across the western Nebraska Panhandle during the evening hours on November 28th, persisting through the morning of the 29th. Total snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches were common, with local amounts of 6-7 inches observed along sections of the Cheyenne Ridge in Banner county, where narrow heavier bands resulted in periods of snowfall rates in excess of 1 inch per hour late in the evening on the 28th into early on the 29th.
