Generally 3 to 6 inches of snow fell across the area with locally higher amounts.

Wider weather episode

Moisture associated with a landfalling moderate Atmospheric River reached eastern Utah, riding on a 120-130 knot jet aloft. Perturbations in the northwest flow associated with this jet combined with favorable orographics to result in moderate to heavy snow across the mountains. Light to moderate snow also fell in some of the valley areas.
