Seven to eight inches of lake effect snow was reported in Covert and Keeler.

North northwest winds coming across relatively mild Lake Michigan waters resulted in locally heavy lake effect snow. Up to ten inches of snow was reported in Freesoil in Mason county. There were additional reports of snow in the seven to eight inch range across portions of Van Buren county. This resulted in hazardous travel conditions in those areas that received this locally heavy lake effect snow.
