A Winter Storm Warning was issued for Dec 21 until the 23rd. Initially, peak snowfall amounts were forecast to range from 3 to 7 inches. As the event neared, the final forecast called for 2 to 3 inches across the area. The WSW was maintained as 40 to 50 mph wind gusts were expected to lead to near blizzard conditions. A brief period of freezing drizzle was also forecast and was observed.

Most ground stations experienced reduced visibility between 0.5 - 1.0 mile for a period of 2 to 3 hours.
