Storm total snow accumulations ranged from 2 to 4 inches.

Intensifying low pressure tracked northeast across the Gulf of Maine during the 13th...exiting across the Maritimes that night into the early morning hours of the 14th. Colder air drawn south around the exiting low allowed rain to transition to snow across northern Maine during the evening of the 13th. Snow then persisted into the early morning hours of the 14th. Snow accumulations generally ranged from 2 to 5 inches. However...localized accumulations of 6 to 7 inches occurred across the higher terrain of extreme northern Maine including the Saint John Valley. This was the first measurable snow of the season for many areas.
