For multiple sites across Wibaux County, temperatures in the teens and 20s below zero and breezy winds created intermittent periods of wind chills of -40 or worse from early morning of the 21st into the late morning of the 23rd. The peak wind chill of -58 was recorded from 4:15 PM to 5:15PM, again at 7:35PM, and again from 9:35 PM to 9:55 PM on the 21st at the Beach Airport ASOS (K20U).
