Severe thunderstorm wind gusts downed trees and wires near Province Lake in Effingham.
Wider weather episode
A cold front with a fine line of convection quickly moved through the state on the evening of November 30th. The line was strongest across Southern New Hampshire where numerous trees and wires were blown down as the storms quickly moved from west to east. Sporadic trees were also reported down across parts of the state but the damage was more concentrated across Hillsborough and Carrol Counties.
