Snotel Mount Lockhart measured 10 inches new snow over 24 hours.

Wider weather episode

A strong storm system moved across the area at the very end November, continuing into early December, and brought significant snowfall to primarily higher elevations of southwest Montana. However, banding of snow also resulted in higher snowfall amounts across the Blackfeet Nation and adjacent areas of the Rocky Mountain Front Range. Windy conditions also prevailed with the strongest winds confined to primarily southwest Montana. This weather episode is also included in December's Storm Data.
