The highest icing totals across Wood County included 0.35 inches in Marshfield and 0.28 inches in Wisconsin Rapids.

A low pressure system tracked along the Wisconsin and Illinois border on Monday (2/27). A surge of warm air aloft led to freezing rain across central and east-central Wisconsin with snow across north-central and northeast Wisconsin. Ice accumulations ranged from one tenth to one third of an inch across central and east-central Wisconsin. Snowfall accumulations were generally 6 to 9 inches across north-central and northeast Wisconsin.
Some of the highest snowfall totals included 9.4 inches in Sturgeon Bay (Door Co.), 9 inches in Oconto Falls (Oconto Co.), 8.8 inches near Cecil (Shawano Co.), 8.5 inches in Pulaski (Oconto Co.), 8 inches in Phelps (Vilas Co.), near Shawano (Shawano Co.), as well as Suring (Oconto Co.).
Some of the highest ice accumulations were 0.35 inches in Marshfield (Wood Co.), 0.28 inches in Wisconsin Rapids (Wood Co.), and 0.26 inches in Wausau (Marathon Co.).
