A peak wind gust of 64 mph was measured at the Scobey N MDA mesonet site (MTM78). A wind gust of 60 mph was also measured at the Navajo MT-5 DOT site (MTRED).

Wider weather episode

A chinook wind and warm front moved through the area causing wind gusts over 60 mph in areas.
