A peak wind gust of 59 MPH was measured at the Jay RAWS site.

Winds increased as yet another upper level trough and associated cold front dropped into the Great Basin. This led to some stronger winds across west-central Colorado. Some stronger gusts met high wind criteria, or 58 mph, in the Debeque to Silt Corridor and the Central Gunnison and Uncompahgre River Basin.
