Volunteer snow observers reported that around 5 inches of snow fell across Taylor County. The highest reported total was 7.5 inches in Westboro.

Wider weather episode

Heavy snow moved across western into central Wisconsin from the evening of January 18th into the early evening of January 19th. Snowfall amounts ranged from 2 to 8 inches across much of the area. The highest reported totals were 8.0 inches in Melrose (Jackson County), and 7.5 inches in Cataract, Sparta (Monroe County), and Westboro (Taylor County). Most schools canceled classes or had a late start on January 19th.
