Hail up to the size of golf balls fell in a swath across the area from Kokomo to Foxworth to Lampton.

Wider weather episode

As a warm front lifted north across Mississippi on April 15th, several severe thunderstorms developed and produced hail. Some wind damage occurred as well. The next afternoon on April 16th, additional thunderstorms developed along this frontal boundary and produced hail and damaging winds.
