Snow accumulated between 5 and 7 inches.

Wider weather episode

A winter storm brought accumulating snow to Northeastern Pennsylvania on the night of the 27th. Snowfall was heavy for brief periods of time. While snow continued for much of the overnight hours, snow then transitioned to rain by the afternoon hours on the 28th. The highest snowfall totals were in the Poconos where up to 8 inches fell. Elsewhere, snowfall totals fell short of warning criteria but were enough to result in some minor impacts.
