Minus 15 to -30 temperatures were widespread on the 30th with the coldest -28 at Taber with -23 at Blackfoot. -25 to -40 wind chills were common. The following schools were closed due to the extreme cold on the 30th and 31st: Pocatello-Chubbuck School District 25, American Falls School District 381, Snake River School District 52, Blackfoot School District 55, Aberdeen School District 58, Shelley School District 60, Firth School District 59, and Shoshone Bannock School District 537.
