Overnight lows ranged from 25 to 29 degrees across the area, including a low of 28 degrees at the Grand Junction Regional Airport.

Wider weather episode

Abnormally cold temperatures filtered into Western Colorado in the wake of a strong cold front. This led to subfreezing temperatures across some of the west-central valleys where vegetation was susceptible to damage.
